**Re-Root your Root Chakra**

Underground Society is excited to announce our next powerful workshop. A grounding and safe space to root yourself in community and rebalancing your first chakra, the "Mulhadara".

The Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine, continuing though the pelvic floor, and the first three vertebrae, is responsible for your sense of safety and security in your earthly journey. The word "Muladhara" breaks down into two Sanskrit words: Mula meaning “root” and Adhara, meaning “support” or “base.”

It is important for us, as one tribe, one human family, to nurture and balance this energy to move forward through the sequential chakras and to continue in our conscious expansion.

We will explore the meaning of this first chakra, how it is associated to our physical body, our mental state and conditioned behavioral patterns. We will re-root in our foundational chakra by participating in grounding exercises and interactive activities.

We will start our day with Yoga, designed specifically to balance your adrenal glands, then come together to a grounding mediation; we invite you to listen to powerful keynote speakers, step out of your comfort zone, and enjoy live musical performances (by Arielle Sitrickl, Maria Zardoya and powerful Didgeridoo vibrations by Lincoln Barnett). In closing we will offer plant-based foods, juices and teas.

This workshop will inspire you to see the world from a new perspective and really make meaningful connections around how the Root Chakra affects your life. Join us in fully connecting to your roots.
